1. Terms
By accessing or using the Shul Silencer mobile application, website, or API (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these terms, you are not permitted to access or use the Service.
All content, data, text, code, software and materials available through the Service are protected by intellectual property and other applicable laws.
2. License and Restrictions
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to access and use the Service solely for personal, lawful and non-commercial purposes. This license does not permit you to:
- modify, copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works of any part of the Service;
- access or use any data, including synagogue or location data, for commercial, scraping, database compilation, resale or aggregation;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the app or any software used in the Service;
- bypass or interfere with any security features, geofencing systems, data protections or access restrictions;
- use automated tools (including bots, scrapers or crawlers) to access the Service or its database;
- mirror or store the Service or any part of it on another server or system.
If you violate these restrictions, your license may be terminated immediately, without notice.
3. Data and Database Access
The database, synagogue location data, geofencing infrastructure, feedback submissions and any related systems are provided strictly for use within the Shul Silencer App and related authorized APIs. You are not permitted to download, extract, copy, store, re-use, redistribute or export this data for any other purpose.
4. Prohibited Use
You agree that you will not use the Service in any manner that:
- infringes any applicable laws or regulations;
- interferes with other users’ access or functionality;
- damages, disables or impairs the Service or its servers;
- involves attempting unauthorized access to our database, API, servers or administration systems;
- attempts to copy, emulate, recreate or compete with the Service.
5. No Right to Copy or Download
No material from the Service may be downloaded, copied, reproduced or distributed in any form unless explicitly authorized by us. This includes all data, synagogue locations, content, metadata, API responses and source code.
